Ink and Chickens

I do have a photo update. But I think I uploaded the images as ASCII, instead of Binary. So they are kinda fubar’d. I’ll have to re-upload them when I get home. Blah.

The update isn’t much. I just made my first attempt at quasi-inking the sketch I posted yesterday. I was using advice from a line weight tutorial of Amy Hadley’s. Overall, it was pretty good, but I did make some mistakes - thickening lines when I shouldn’t have and her hair could use some work - I went a bit crazy. But I think with practice, it could work. Its kind of exciting.

In addition to my ink work, I also sketched out five pseudo-designs for one of S† courses at school. For his Pre-Production course, they are creating a fictional game company and they need a logo. The company name? Perverted Poultry Games. Apparently, this automatically made him think of me. I’m not sure how to take that. Heh. Nah, he wanted something similar to the logo I created for Bad Girls Design - silhouette of a chicken with a whip and all that quasi-naughtiness.

Truth be told, I kinda went overboard. Heh. But I did it during my lunch hour and it was kinda fun. The sketches were amusing me to no end. Though, I did resist the urge to take the logo to a very wrong place, al a Eli Roth’s Thanksgiving*.

His classmates might hate all five sketches, which is fine. The sketches are really, really rough and only give a basic idea of what I think the logos could look like. And if they don’t like ‘em, well, they are game designers. They can design their own damn logo. ;) I had fun and that’s all that matters to me. Hell, I might even finish the logos even if they hate them.

Oh hey, here’s the images that I sent S† - found them in my Inbox. Heh. My favourite is the one in the bondage mask - if you look closely, you can see where I erased the ball gag. ;) The scans are crap. I was just trying to give him an idea. ;)

Like I said, rough. Fun, but rough. ;)

*If you’ve seen the faux trailer, you should know how twisted I mean. ;)
